THE GEM COLLECTION

This collection was my first exploration of colour and texture in a freestyle and unguided manner and initially acted as a form of catharsis to break up the stresses of lockdown.

Every single piece is derived from a single photo of bougainvillea flowers stretched, overlaid, glitched and colour adjusted till it created this faceted gem face texture.
